An uber from the airport usually costs about $20-$30 (for the airport in Fort Myers) depending on which airport you’re flying into. Rental cars usually start at $19 per day in the off season (April - October), and double in price during peak season (November - March). if you rent for the week (they are relatively inexpensive, and I’m sure some of the other students would pitch in for gas, or buy you food etc). Everyone who has ever come for class has been really great and thoughtful (so far!!).
Food
Uber Eats and Grubhub deliver to our location. There are no restaurants in walking distance, but there are SEVERAL options that are a 5-minute drive away. We also have a small refrigerator and microwave in the classroom if you pack a lunch.
Publix is an amazing grocery store, they have famous subs (it’s a Florida thing lol). The closest Publix is an 8 minute drive away.
